Outsource your print: Craftcloud

What it is: a broker, not a printer. You upload once and Craftcloud (craftcloud3d.com) shows you offers from many print shops around the world, each with its own price, material, lead time, and shipping. You pick one, and that shop prints and ships your part. It is the gentlest first stop, because you see the whole range without visiting ten sites.

Fit for the squeezer: good. Its partners offer FDM in PETG, and because you can sort and filter the offers, you can choose one in your own country to dodge customs.

Before you start: have lemon_squeezer.stl ready, and decide on FDM and PETG.

The exact steps

  1. Go to craftcloud3d.com and choose to upload a model. No account is needed just to get a quote.
  2. Drag in lemon_squeezer.stl. It renders the model so you can confirm the shape, the orientation (bowl opening up), and that the size reads about 73 mm.
  3. Set the technology to FDM and the material to PETG, then pick a color. The page narrows the offers to match.
  4. Read the list of offers. Each row is a different shop with its price, lead time, and shipping. Sort by price or by delivery date, and, to avoid customs, prefer a shop in your own country.
  5. Pick an offer and add your shipping address. The quote splits into production time and shipping time, so you see the real delivery date.
  6. Pay and place the order (you provide an email at checkout, which is also where order tracking arrives). Craftcloud routes it to the shop you chose.
  7. When it arrives, run the arrival inspection checklist, then finish it: the food-safe sanding and optional sealing from Chapter 14, then the five tests in Chapter 15.

What is different about Craftcloud: you compare many shops in one place, so it is the best way to weigh price against speed, and to find a domestic option, without re-uploading anywhere.

Time and cost: varies by the offer you pick. The list shows each shop's lead time and price up front; a small PETG part is usually a modest per-part cost plus shipping, delivered within several business days to a couple of weeks. Pick a closer shop for a sooner date.
