Outsource your print: Treatstock

What it is: a marketplace (treatstock.com) of thousands of independent print shops. Unlike a broker that auto-routes your order, here you pick the specific maker, which means you can choose one in your city and collect the part in person, often the fastest option of all.

Fit for the squeezer: good. Providers widely offer FDM in PETG, and local pickup sidesteps both shipping time and customs.

Before you start: have lemon_squeezer.stl ready; decide FDM and PETG; know your city so you can filter to it.

The exact steps

  1. Go to treatstock.com and open the upload or instant-quote page.
  2. Drag in lemon_squeezer.stl. The widget calculates a price automatically from the model. It also accepts STEP, OBJ, and 3MF.
  3. Set the technology to FDM and material to PETG, and choose a color.
  4. Filter the providers to your location by entering your city or country. You get a list of nearby makers with their prices, ratings, and turnaround.
  5. Choose a provider. If it offers local pickup, select that to skip shipping entirely; otherwise pick domestic shipping for a fast, customs-free delivery.
  6. Place the instant order and pay; the site asks you to register (free) or continue with an email so the maker can message you. The provider prints it, and you collect it or it ships to you. For pickup, agree the time through the site's messages first; these are small shops with their own hours, not a 24-hour counter.
  7. When you have it, run the arrival inspection checklist, then do the food-safe finishing (Chapter 14) and the five tests (Chapter 15).

What is different about Treatstock: you select the actual person or shop, sorted by distance, so it is the route most likely to get you same-day or next-day pickup from someone nearby.

Time and cost: the provider's price and turnaround show before you order. A nearby maker with pickup can be ready the same or next day; domestic shipping adds a day or two. Cost is per part plus any shipping, so compare a few providers.
